Calcorp minimises risks to employees, clients, and the public through our comprehensive Risk Management and Occupational Health and Safety programs. For each new contract, Calcorp's Operations Manager performs an initial risk assessment of the tasks and operational requirements of the contract, ranking each risk factor from low to high. Suitable response strategies are then developed to minimise job-related risks.

Regular monitoring, reporting, and reviews by management ensure that the Risk Management and OH&S programs are continually updated and relevant to our clients' constantly changing operational requirements.

Risk Management Plan

Calcorp Services has developed a Risk Management strategy that commits us to ensuring that our employees and all stakeholders are protected from loss through situations, which could have negative results.

This strategy includes:

	Identify the project and determine the risk issues.
	Assess each risk and rank from Moderate to Major.
	Plan and select the response for risk.
	Moderate risk - OH&S program.
	High risk - Transfer risk to Insurance Company and Work cover Company.
	Monitor through analysis, review and report.

Occupational Health & Safety:

These response strategies are then incorporated into our working procedures and practices through our staff training program which provides our employees with comprehensive education in safe operating procedures for plant and equipment, and techniques for managing job-related OH&S and environmental risks.

We carry out frequent monitoring and reviews of our Risk Management and OH&S programs to ensure that these are kept up-to-date and relevant to our clients' constantly changing operational requirements.

	Calcorp Services is committed through our Occupational Health & Safety Policy to providing its employees and all customers with a safe and injury free environment. Through procedural systems, our commitment is to ensure injury and damage is identified and controlled in line with OH&S Act 1985, OH&S regulations Manual Handling 1988, Noise regulation 1992 and Plant regulation 1995.
	In order to manage these needs, Calcorp Services currently:
	Provides information-training sessions for employees on new plant and equipment.
	Implement a safety system for our work environment,
	Handles the disposal of materials through controlled systems,
	Provides updated information and training to all relevant employees where work practices change.
	All employees have a responsibility to be active participants in working with safety systems. Identifiable events or situations, which could place employees or the public at risk, must be reported, in order to implement procedures that will control and remedy the situation. Situations that are uncontrollable are reported to management for appropriate action.

Public Liability:

Calcorp Services holds in place a current Public Liability insurance policy which insures Calcorp Services and its employees for General Public Liability $20,000,000 in value
